پھر استاد جی کے بجائے سرجی آیا ، یوں استاد جی سے سرجی کہلایا جانے لگا پھر سارے استاد ٹیچر بن گئے 
پھر عام بول چال میں غیرمحسوس طریقے سے اردوکا جو زوال شروع ہوا وہ اب تک جاری وساری ہے. اب تو یہ بھی یاد نہیں کہ کب جماعت، کلاس میں تبدیل ہوگئی، اور جو ہم جماعت تھے وہ کب کلاس فیلو بن گئے ، اول ، دوئم، سوئم، چہارم، پنجم ، ششم ، ہفتم، ہشتم، نہم ، دہم جماعتیں ہوتی تھیں اور کلاس کے کمروں کے باہر لگی تختیوں پر اسی طرح کا لکھا ہوتا تھا لیکن پھر کمروں سے کلاس روم بن گئے، اور فرسٹ سے ٹینتھ کی نیم پلیٹیں لگ گئیں. تفریح کی جگہ ریسس اور بریک کے الفاظ استعمال ہونے لگ گئے . گرمیوں کی چھٹیاں اور سردیوں کی چھٹیاں (المعروف وڈے دناں دی چھٹیاں) کی جگہ سمر وکیشن اور ونٹر ووکیشن آگئیں.
چھٹیوں کا کام کام نہ رہا بلکہ ہوم ورک ہوگیا،

قلم ، دوات، سیاہی ، تختی ، گاچی، سلیٹ اور سلیٹی جیسی اشیاء گویا میوزیم میں رکھ دی گئیں ان کی جگہ لیڈ پنسل اور بال پین آگئیں. کاپیاں گئیں اور نوٹ بکس آگئیں، نصاب کو کورس کہا جانے لگا، اور اس کورس کی ساری کتابیں بکس بن گئیں یوں بکس کے نام بھی تبدیل ہوگئے.

اساتذہ کے لیئے میز کرسیاں لگانے والے ٹیچرز کے لیئے ٹیبل اور چیئرز لگانے لگے
داخلوں کے بجائے ایڈمیشن ہونے لگے
اول، دوم ، سوم آنے والے طلبہ وطالبات فرسٹ، سیکنڈاور تھرڈ آنے والے سٹوڈنٹس بن گئے
پہلے پہل انعام ملا کرتے تھے لیکن اب پرائز ملنا شروع ہوگئے
بچے تالیاں پیٹنے کے بجائے آج کل چیئرز کرنے میں مصروف ہوگئے
یہ سب کچھ سرکاری اسکولوں میں ہوا
باقی رہے پرائیویٹ سکول ان کا تو پوچھئیے ہی مت
ان کاروباری مراکز کے لیئے کچھ عرصہ پہلے ایک شعرکہا تھا
مکتب نہیں دکان ہے یہ خام مال کی 
مقصد جہاں پہ علم نہیں روزگار ہے
تعلیمی اداروں کا رونا ہی کیوں رویا جائے ہمارے گھروں میں بھی اردو زبان کو یتیم اولاد کی طرح ایک کونے میں ڈال دیا گیا
زنان خانہ اور مردان خانہ تو کب کے ختم ہوگئے ، خواب گاہ کی البتہ موجودگی لازمی ہے تو ہم نے اسے ایک بیڈ روم کا نام دے دیا، باورچی خانہ کچن بن گیا اور اس میں پڑے برتن کراکری بن گئے. 
غسل خانہ پہلے باتھ روم ہوا کرتا تھا پھر ترقی کرکے واش روم بن گیا
مہمان خانہ یا بیٹھک کو اب ڈرائنگ روم کہتے ہوئے فخر محسوس کیا جاتا ہے

بچوں کے لیئے ریڑھی والے سے لے رشتے دار تک سب کے سب ہی انکل بن گئے یعنی کہ محمودوایاز ایک ہی صف میں کھڑے ہوگئے ساری عورتین آنٹیاں ، چچاذاد ، ماموں ذاد، خالہ ذاد بہنیں و بھائی سب کے سب کزن میں تبدیل ہوگئے نہ ہی رشتے کی پہچان رہی اور نہ ہی جنس کی پہچان رہی . بس اک کام کرنے والی پہلے بھی ماسی تھی اور اب بھی ماسی ہی ہے .
گھر اور سکول میں اتنی ذیادہ تبدیلیوں کے بعد بازار انگریزی کی ذد سے کیسے محفوظ رہتا
