Pakistan has been kept on Grey List Until?

 Question: After FATF's plenary session held from 21st October, 2020 to 23rd October, 2020, Pakistan has been kept on Grey List Until__________?

Here is short details:-

  • Given 04 Months to complete all the action points until February, 2021
  • Until now Pakistan has complied with 21 out of 27 points of action items (Remaining 6) (New addition: 7 Points).
  • Prior to 21 Points, (Pakistan Completed: 14 Points out of 27)
  • One needs 12 out of 39 members votes to move out Grey list. 
  • Till Now: 18 Countries are on the Grey List, while 2 Nations are on the Black List (1). Iran (2). South Korea. 
  • Pakistan was placed on the Grey List in June 2018. 
  • Prior to this, Pakistan was also on the Grey list from 2013 to 2016.
  • FATF founded: July 1989 and its Members are 39. 
  • FATF Headquarters in Paris and France
  • FATF President Mr. Marcus Pleyer. 
  • The Main purpose of this organization is to check the money launder and terror financing.
