 Intermittent Fasting is more of an eating pattern than a diet, in Which you cycle between periods of fasting and eating. it is mostly about when you should eat, rather than what you should eat. 

this pattern of eating accelerates weight loss by improving the metabolism, where you technically fast for 16 hours a day, restricting your first meal in the afternoon and the last meal at 8 PM. People who are looking in to inducing weight loss and balancing their hormonal levels may practice intermittent fasting.
